First Milestone of our DictioTherapy game

Hihihihihihihihii

We have some updates!!!!

WHAT'S NEW

Main Menu

We added a Main Menu with Start, Options and Quit buttons!! Though the options part is still a WIP, so it doesn't do anything yet.

Here's what it looks like!!

Pause Menu

We added a Pause Menu, with Resume, Main Menu, Options and Quit buttons :DD

Options and Main Menu are still pending.

Here's what that looks like!! Simple layout we're hoping to beautify soon ^^

Dictionary

We have a first look on the dictionary, it has words that you can click and save to it. What we have so far is text on a (specifically, our main character's) journal where there a bright, clickable words. When interacted with, there's a little animation :D

Here's what that's looking like so far :3

Words as Tools

In our latest scene, set in the protagonist's home, players wield a mouse light that will eventually become a tool for discovering abilities and solving puzzles. This installment introduces the word hope, which illuminates the player's path to healing and inner peace. ✨

WHAT'S NEXT

By the next post, we're hoping to:

* Rough therapist model with simple script.

* Make the lights, for the level mentioned in the first post, work with a dark room.

* Define with more detail what the levels are gonna be.

* Solve the pause menu problem

* Solve the music loop

* Define, again with more detail, what the story is gonna be (i.e. the MC's personality, what their problem is, etc.).
